The recently released schedule for the 2024 Brisbane International shows an action-packed slate running from December 29th to January 7th. The joint ATP/WTA event will feature a star-studded field competing in singles and doubles play.

The impressive women’s lineup includes Grand Slam champions Naomi Osaka, Elena Rybakina, Jelena Ostapenko and Victoria Azarenka.
“After one year outside of the Tour, I think it’s the right moment to be back,” said Nadal. “I have been working hard and feeling much better the last couple of weeks.” Brisbane provides top players like Nadal critical preparation leading up to the Australian Open.
Matches will take place during the day and night at Pat Rafter Arena in the Queensland Tennis Centre. Tournament Director Cam Pearson said, “We know how hard Rafa has been working to get back playing, so to see him out on court for the first time in 12 months here in Brisbane will be very special.”
Local Australian players are also expected to feature, including Alexei Popyrin, Max Purcell and Kimberly Birrell. In all, over a dozen Top 20 singles stars on both tours will compete. Doubles action will accompany each day’s slate.
