British tennis player Johanna Konta went to the second round of the tournament in Birmingham, beating Estonian Anett Kontaveit, – 6/4, 6/2.
The match lasted 1 hour and 12 minutes. The 18th World, 28-year-old Johanna, made four breaks and three aces, making a mistake six times when serving. The 23-year-old Kontaveit, which occupies the 20th position in the world classification, once took a rival’s supply and completed five aces.
