Barcelona Rafael Nadal won a strong-willed victory in the second round

The second racket of the world, Spaniard Rafael Nadal, in three sets beat Argentinian Leonardo Mayer, occupying the 63rd line of the ATP rating, with a score of 6/7 (7), 6/4, 6/2 in the second round of the Barcelona tournament.

The match lasted 2 hours and 49 minutes. During this time, the 32-year-old Nadal performed one ace, made a mistake twice when serving and sold four break points, and 31-year-old Mayer served right through  four times, made four double mistakes and made one break.

Now the score in personal meetings was 7-0 in favor of the Spaniard. In the third round of the Barcelona Open Banc Sabadell competition, Nadal will play with his compatriot David Ferrer.
