The Mifel Tennis Open is one of the most important tennis events in Latin America and belongs to the ATP 250 category. The tournament is held in the spectacular city of Los Cabos, BCS and was inaugurated in 2016. Top 20 tennis stars including Sam Querrey, Fabio Fognini, Diego Schwartzman and Cameron Norrie have all graced the event with their presence.
The 2022 Los Cabos Open will be the 6th edition of the tournament and is due to take place from 1-6 August 2022. It will be played on outdoor hard courts and is part of the ATP Tour 250 series as part of the ATP Tour. The total prize money on offer at the ATP Los Cabos Open has seen a 37.35% increase from 2021 to 2022. The champion of the event will now take home $125,040, more than double what was offered last year. The runner-up will receive $72,395, also a significant increase from last year’s prize money. Players will be eager to compete for their share of the $822,110 total prize purse, and fans can expect to see some thrilling tennis matches.
