The Gijon Open is a professional tennis tournament that will be played on hard courts at the Palacio de Deportes in Gijón, Spain.The Palacio de Deportes de Gijón is a large, multi-purpose sports arena that is located in the city of Gijón in Asturias, Spain. The arena is owned by the Gijón City Hall, and it has a seating capacity of 5,197 people. The arena also has a second court that can accommodate 500 spectators, and there are several halls within the arena that are used for practicing various sports such as martial arts, weightlifting, snooker, squash, fencing, and boxing.
The event is scheduled to take place between October 10 and October 16, 2022. The tournament features a singles draw of 28 players and a doubles draw of 16 teams. It is currently part of the ATP Tour and is classified as an ATP 250 event.
