Belarusian Aryna Sabalenka commented on her victory over Danish Caroline Wozniacki in Eastbourne.
“I didn’t expect to be able to add so much after the first game. At the beginning of the meeting I didn’t succeed, but Caroline played great. But then a miracle happened. Caroline is very strong and beat me in last year’s final. Therefore, this victory was extremely important.
It is difficult to explain what has changed during the match. In the beginning I had problems with the flow. I lost several games and decided to focus on the sweepstakes. It helped me get back. It’s great that I can play at this level a week before the start of Wimbledon, ”the WTA press service quoted Sabalenka as saying.
