Anastasia Sergeyevna Pavlyuchenkova was born on July 3, 1991 in Samara, at that time still in the USSR. Nastia’s parents were Sergei and Marina Pavlyuchenkovs, who were also quite famous athletes. Daddy was a professional rower for a long time, and his wife developed in swimming. Anastasia has a brother, who at first tried to do big tennis, but then decided to help his sister and became part of her team.
