Alex De Minaur became the champion of the competition in Sydney

Australian tennis player Alex De Minaur won the tournament in Sydney, defeating the Italian Andres Seppi in the final – 7/5, 7/6 (5).

The match lasted 2 hours and 5 minutes. The 29th racket of the world, 19-year-old Alex, made three breaks and four aces, making four wrong mistakes when serving. 34-year-old Seppi, who occupies the 37th place in the ATP ranking, took the opponent’s serve twice, made five aces and three double faults.

Previously, the players have not met each other. The title, won at the Sydney International competition, became the first in careerĀ  De Minaur, bringing $ 90.990 in prize money and 250 rating points.
