Russian tennis player Ekaterina Makarova commented on the victory in the final pair tournament in St. Petersburg.
“The Olympiad is, of course, an incredible tournament, I am very happy that Elena and I managed to win it. The next Olympiad is still far away, it’s difficult to guess who I will play with. Rita is very talented, she is good at it,” Makarova noted .
