Dutch tennis player Kiki Bertens overcame the barrier of the second round of the competition in St. Petersburg, beating Belgian Ysaline Bonaventure in two sets, – 6/4, 6/2.
The match lasted 1 hour and 1 minute. The eighth racket of the world, 27-year-old Kiki, made four breaks and 13 aces, making four mistakes when serving. 24-year-old Bonaventure, occupying the 148th line of the world ranking table, once took the pitch of a rival and made four double mistakes.
