American Nicole Melichar and Czech Kveta Peschke in the finals of the Brisbane International doubles tournament defeated the representatives of Taiwan Hao-Ching Chan and Latisha Chan -6/1, 6/1. In 57 minutes of the match, Nicole and Kveta made four aces and seven breaks, making a double mistake when serving. Whereas Latisha and Hao-Chin implemented two break-points and made three double faults. The title of doubles competition in Brisbane brought Melichar and Peschke $ 48,330 prize and 470 rating points.
