Before the start of the first ATP tournament in the season-2016 – Qatar Open in Doha, Serb Novak Djokovic and Spaniard Rafael Nadal held a demonstration match on the sandy court of one of the beaches of Doha.
“The wind didn’t stop Rafa and me from enjoying tennis on the beach!” – the Serb wrote in his microblog on Twitter
“I look forward to the start of the tournament. This is my second visit to Doha, this is an excellent start to the season in the company of very strong players, ”Djokovic added
“Glad to come to Doha again. This is always a great way to start the season. Always a good line-up, warm atmosphere. Awesome tournament, ”said Nadal.
