French tennis player Alize Cornet broke the barrier of the 1/2 final of the competition in Lausanne, beating German Tamara Korpatsch, – 6/3, 6/4.
The match lasted 1 hour and 45 minutes. The 48th racket of the world, 29-year-old Alize, made seven breaks and two aces, making four wrong mistakes when serving. The 24-year-old Korpatsch, occupying the 142nd position in the world classification, took four rivals four times and made two double mistakes. Before each other athletes have not met.
