Jelena Ostapenko won in the first round of the competition in Eastbourne

Latvian tennis player Jelena Ostapenko overcame the barrier of the first round of the tournament in Eastbourne, beating Romanian Mihaela Buzarnescu – 6/4, 6/4.

For 1 hour 32 minutes of the match, the 35th racket of the world, 22-year-old Elena, recorded four breaks and five aces, making the wrong mistake ten times. 31-year-old Buzarnescu, twice took delivery rival and made three double faults. Previously, the account in the personal meetings of the athletes was equal – 2: 2.

In the second round of the Nature Valley International competition, Ostapenko will play with Sloane Stephens from America.
