The 25th World Racket, Croat Petra Martic, in three sets, defeated Latvian Jelena Ostapenko, who ranks 37th in the WTA ranking, with a score of 6/7 (4), 7/5, 6/1 in the quarterfinal of the tournament in Birmingham.
