American tennis player Venus Williams spoke about her impressions of the game together with the British Harriet Dart in Birmingham. In the first round of the doubles competition, Venus and Harriet lost to Ukrainian Nadezhda Kichenok and American Abigail Spears – 6/4, 6/7 (3), 7:10.
“It was interesting. Dart pays a lot of attention to tennis. She needs to understand her strengths and develop them. It’s a pity that we didn’t have much time to play. However, I am pleased with the way we acted. We practically won! Serena’s permission. If she agrees, I’ll play along with Harriet, ”the WTA press service quoted Williams as saying.
