The 42nd racket of the world, Ukrainian Dayana Yastremska, beat Frenchwoman Fiona Ferro, who occupies the 88th line in the WTA rating, with a score of 6/1, 6/3 in the quarterfinals of the tournament in Strasbourg.
The meeting lasted 1 hour and 3 minutes. During this time, the 19-year-old Yastremskaya completed eight aces, made a mistake seven times when serving and sold six break points, while the 22-year-old Ferro never gave a proper word, made one double mistake and made two breaks.
