The 101st World No. Svetlana Kuznetsova from Russia lost to Belinda Bencic of Switzerland, who ranks 18th in the WTA ranking, with a score of 6/7 (4), 6/2, 3/6 in the second round of the Madrid tournament.
The meeting lasted 2 hours and 6 minutes. During that time, 33-year-old Kuznetsova performed eight aces, twice made a mistake when serving and sold six break points, and 22-year-old Bencic served four times, made four double mistakes and made five breaks.
