The 14th World Player, Russian Daniil Medvedev, outplayed the leader of the rating, Serb Novak Djokovic, in three sets, with a score of 6/3, 4/6, 6/2 in the quarterfinal of the Masters in Monte Carlo.
Tennis players spent on the court 2 hours and 20 minutes. During this time, the 23-year-old Medvedev executed three aces, twice made a mistake when serving and sold five break points, and the 31-year-old Djokovic filed a full four times, made three double mistakes and made two breaks.
Earlier personal score was 3-0 in favor of the Serb. In the semi-finals of the tournament Rolex Monte-Carlo Masters, Medvedev will fight with Serb Dusan Lajovic.
