The current champion of the tournament in Monterrey, Spaniard Garbine Muguruza, commented on her entry to the semifinals.
“Calm, good tactics and competitiveness have become the key to today’s victory. I am happy to defend the title in Monterrey. Of course, this adds pressure, but I’m already in the semifinals, so everything is going well,” the WTA press service quoted Muguruza.
