Dutch tennis player Kiki Bertens overcame the barrier of the second round of the Indian Wells tournament by defeating polka Magda Lynette in two sets – 6/4, 6/1.
For 1 hour and 17 minutes of the match, the seventh WTA rating number, 27-year-old Kiki, made six breaks and four aces, making a mistake once. Her age-mate Lynette, who occupies 92nd place in the world classification, twice took the opponent’s serve, made one ace and three double mistakes.
The Dutchwoman increased the gap in the personal meetings of the athletes – 2: 0. The next rival of the Bertens competition in the BNP Paribas Open will be the British Johanna Konta.
