The fourth racket of the world, the Czech tennis player Petra Kvitova, in the semifinals of the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships, defeated Su-Wei Hsieh from Taiwan, who is 31st in the world ranking, – 3/6, 6/2, 6/4.
For 2 hours and 9 minutes of the match, Petra made three aces and four breaks, making the wrong mistake eight times. Whereas Su-Wei once blew through and implemented three break points, making three double faults.
Through personal meetings, opponents became 4-0 in favor of the Czech. In the finals of the tournament in Dubai, Kvitova will play either with Ukrainian Elina Svitolina or with Swiss Belinda Bencic.
