The first racket of the world, Australian Ashleigh Barty, prevailed over British Harriett Dart, who ranks 182nd in the WTA rating, with a score of 6/1, 6/1 in the third round of Wimbledon.
The match lasted 52 minutes. During this time, 23-year-old Barty completed 11 aces, twice made a mistake when serving and sold four break points, and 22-year-old Dart was noted with only five double mistakes. This was the first official meeting of athletes.
Barty’s next opponent in London will be an American Alison Riske.
