Australian tennis player Nick Kyrgios overcame the 1/2 barrier of the tournament in Washington by beating Greek Stefanos Tsitsipas – 6/4, 3/6, 7/6 (7).
For 2 hours 7 minutes of the fight, the 52nd racket of the world, 24-year-old Nick, made two breaks and 19 aces, having made a mistake three times in the pitch. 20-year-old Tsitsipas, who ranks sixth in the world classification, took the opponent’s pitch twice, made 14 aces and one double mistake.
