Czech tennis player Tomas Berdych overcame the barrier of the 1/4 finals in Montpellier, beating Serb Filip Krajinovic in three sets – 7/6 (3), 6/7 (5), 7/5.
The match lasted 2 hours and 42 minutes. The 79th World Racket, 33-year-old Tomas, made three breaks and 13 aces, making a mistake three times when serving. The 26-year-old Krajinovic, occupying the 72nd position in the world classification, twice took the pitch of his opponent, made 12 aces and six double faults.
Previously between the players have not met. In the semifinals of the Open Sud de France tournament, Berdych will fight the winner of the game Canadian Denis Shapovalov and Frenchman Pierre-Hugues Herbert.
