Australian tennis player Bernard Tomic was born in October 1992 in Stuttgart, Germany. When the boy was three, his family moved to Queensland. Tomic first stepped onto a tennis court at the age of seven. His family also has a sister, Sarah, who is also a professional tennis player. Tomic’s interests include other sports such as soccer and basketball.
In his junior years, the tennis player managed to win the Orange Bowl tournament in 2004 in the under twelve category. A few years later, Bernard Tomic won another tournament of this level in his age category. In 2007, Bernard found himself in the twenty-third position in the junior rankings. In 2008, he managed to win a Grand Slam tournament in Australia, and a year later he repeated his success at the United States Open.
