Anastasia Potapova was born on March 30, 2001, in Saratov. She took her first steps in tennis at the age of five.
Since 2013 Anastasia has been training at the Alexander Ostrovsky Academy in Khimki. Potapova started her professional career in 2015.
Anastasia became the champion of the Junior Wimbledon in 2016 and also played in the finals of the Junior US Open-2015 and Roland Garros2016, 2017.
In 2017, Potapova made her debut in the main draw of adult Wimbledon, and two years later she reached the second round of the Australian Open, Roland Garros and Wimbledon.
