The professional tennis player Ana Ivanović was born in 1987 in the capital of Yugoslavia. At the age of five, she asked her parents to take her to a tennis club after watching a match with Monica Seles. From then on, the tennis player who impressed her became her idol.
In 2001, Ana Ivanovic started in the junior championships, and a year later won one in the United States. In 2003 Ana Ivanovic moved to the junior tournaments under the auspices of the ITF. At one of the tournaments, she and her partner Alla Kudryavtseva topped the competition. By the end of the same year, the tennis player began to play in the adult category as well. Her success in this field came in 2004, after winning five matches and reaching the Wimbledon finals. That same year the name of the tennis player appeared in the first hundred of the WTA rankings.
She quickly followed up with a stunning result in one of the WTA tournaments, earning her first WTA victory. The achievements of the tennis player in 2007 allowed her to get into the top ten of the world ranking and reach the fourth position in the WTA ranking. In 2008, Ana Ivanovic won several major tournaments, including Roland Garros.
