The 12th racket of the world, Greek tennis player Stefanos Tsitsipas, defeated Mikhail Kukushkin of Kazakhstan, who occupies the 50th place in the world ranking, in the final of the Open 13 competition – 7/5, 7/6 (5).
For 1 hour 58 minutes of the match, Stefanos made 14 aces and two breaks, never making a mistake when serving. Whereas Mikhail twice made a match through and realized one break-point, not allowing double mistakes. Through personal meetings of opponents was 2-0 in favor of the Greek.
The title of the tournament in Marseilles became for Tsitsipas the first of the season and the second in his career, bringing him € 115,235 in prize money and 250 rating points.
