Greek tennis player Stefanos Tsitsipas overcame the barrier of the second round of the competition in Barcelona, beating Hungarian Marton Fucsovics, – 6/3, 6/4.
For 1 hour and 8 minutes of the match, the eighth racket of the world, 20-year-old Stefanos, made four breaks and two aces, mistaken three times when serving. 27-year-old Fucsovics, occupying the 36th place in the world classification, twice took the opponent’s submission and made five double mistakes.
Previously, the players did not meet each other. In the third round of the Barcelona Open Banc Sabadell tournament, Tsitsipas will play with Jan Lennard Struff .
