Greek tennis player Stefanos Tsitsipas won the competition in Estoril, defeating Uruguayan Pablo Cuevas in the final, – 6/3, 7/6 (4).
The match lasted 1 hour and 43 minutes. The tenth racket of the world, 20-year-old Stefanos, made two breaks and four aces, having made a mistake once when serving. The 33-year-old Cuevas, who occupies 67th place in the ATP rating, once took an opponent’s pitch and made two double faults.
Greek increased the lead in the personal meetings of the players – 2: 0. The title won in the Millennium Estoril Open tournament became the second in his career for Tsitsipas, earning € 90,390 in prize money and 250 rating points.
