Romanian tennis player Simona Halep shared her impressions of her victory in the Wimbledon quarterfinal.
“I understood that a difficult match was waiting for me. The previous two fights were left for Zhang. Of course, I was nervous. I knew that you should expect very powerful blows from her.
It’s hard to resist such blows, but I struggled hard. I had to give all the best in every draw. In the second game I was able to bring my opponent out of balance.
The game with the score of 1/4 made me believe that all was not lost. I did not miss this set and continued the fight. I believed that I would be able to change the situation, the press service of the WTA quotes Halep.
