For 2 hours and 36 minutes of the match, Roger made 11 aces and four breaks, making a mistake when serving four times. Whereas Kei three times filed right through and realized one break point, making two double faults.
Score in the personal meetings of opponents was 8: 3 in favor of the Swiss.
In the semifinals of “Slam”, Federer will play with Spaniard Rafael Nadal.
This is the 13th semifinal of Wimbledon for Federer (Open era record). The Swiss has 17 quarterfinals, 11 finals and eight titles.
