The 39th racket of the world, Australian Nick Kyrgios, beat Spaniard Roberto Carballes-Baena, occupying the 72nd line of the ATP rating, with a score of 7/6 (4), 6/3 at the start of the tournament in London.
Tennis players spent on the court 1 hour 30 minutes. During this time, the 24-year-old Kirgios completed seven aces, made a mistake six times in filing and realized two break points, and the 26-year-old Carballes-Baena filed twice, made three double mistakes and did not make a single break. This was the first official meeting of athletes.
Kyrgios’s next opponent in the Fever-Tree Championships competition will be the Canadian Felix Auger.
