Australian Nick Kyrgios commented on his victory over Spaniard Rafael Nadal in Acapulco .
“I love to play big matches. The atmosphere at the stadium was just awesome, the audience was delighted. I’ll remember this fight for the rest of my life, we play tennis for such moments. In the morning before the match, I woke up with poisoning. The physio gave me the pills, and I felt a little better, but I felt like in a fog. Besides, my knees still bother me. Before the match I wasn’t even sure that I could play at all. I stayed in the shower for about half an hour, but I still felt not the best way.
Nevertheless, adrenaline did its job, and in the course of the meeting I was getting better. I am proud of how I coped with difficulties and what kind of game I showed at the same time, “the ATP press service quoted Kyrgios as saying.
