Russian tennis player Daniil Medvedev overcame the barrier of the third “Masters” in Monte Carlo, beating in three sets the Greek Stefanos Tsitsipas – 6/2, 1/6, 6/4.
For 1 hour and 45 minutes of the match, the 14th number of the ATP rating, 23-year-old Daniel, made four breaks and two aces, having made the wrong mistake three times. 20-year-old Tsitsipas, ranked eighth in the world classification, three times took the submission of the opponent, made two aces and the same double mistakes.
Russian remains the leader in personal meetings of players – 4: 0. In the quarter finals of the Rolex Monte-Carlo Masters tournament, Medvedev will play either with Serb Novak Djokovic.
