British tennis player Kyle Edmund could not overcome the barrier of the first round of the Australian Open, losing in three sets to Czech Tomas Berdych – 3/6, 0/6, 5/7.

For 1 hour and 42 minutes of the fight, the 14th racket of the world, 24-year-old Edmund, made four aces and three double faults. 33-year-old Tomas, who is in 57th place in the ATP rating, recorded five breaks and 12 aces, having made a mistake once.
