Polish tennis player Hubert Hurkacz went to the second round of the tournament in Marseilles, beating Serb Filip Krajinovic in two sets, – 6/3, 6/2.
For 1 hour and 5 minutes of the match, the 78th racket of the world, 22-year-old Hubert, recorded three breaks and 13 aces, having made a mistake once when serving. 26-year-old Krajinovic, occupying the 77th position in the world classification, performed four aces and did not make double mistakes.
Previously between the players have not met. In a duel for reaching the quarterfinals of the Open 13 competition, Hurkacz faced off with the Greek Stefanos Tsitsipas.
