Croatian tennis player Marin Cilic went to the second round of the French Open, beating the Italian Thomas Fabbiano – 6/3, 7/5, 6/1.
For 2 hours and 10 minutes of the fight, the 13th ATP rating number, 30-year-old Marin, made eight breaks and 13 aces, making the wrong mistake five times. His peer Fabbiano, occupying the 98th position in the world classification, took an opponent three times and made three double mistakes.
Previously, the players did not meet each other. In the second round of the tournament, Cilic will play either with Bulgarian Grigor Dimitrov or with Serb Janko Tipsarevic.
