The seventh racket of the world, Japanese tennis player Kei Nishikori, at the start of Wimbledon outplayed Brazilian Thiago Monteiro, who occupies 113th place in the world ranking, 6/4, 7/6 (3), 6/4.
For 2 hours and 10 minutes of the match, Kei made five aces and three breaks, making four mistakes when serving. While Thiago filed eight times right through and realized one break point, making one double mistake. Through personal meetings of opponents was 1-0 in favor of the Japanese.
In the second round of “Slam” Nishikori will play either with Denis Istomin from Uzbekistan or with Brit Cameron Norrie.
