British tennis player Kyle Edmund overcame the barrier of the first round of the tournament in Marrakesh, defeating the Frenchman Ugo Humbert, – 6/3, 6/2.
The match lasted 1 hour 19 minutes. The 22nd racket of the world, 24-year-old Kyle, realized four break points and made a mistake when serving. 20-year-old Humbert, occupying the 63rd place in the world classification, made five aces and as many double mistakes.
Previously between the players have not met. In the second round of the Grand Prix Hassan II competition, Edmund will play either with Frenchman Jo-Wilfried Tsonga.
