Karolina Pliskova leaves Roland Garros

Czech tennis player Karolina Pliskova failed to overcome the barrier of the third round of the French Open, losing to Croatia Petra Martic – 3/6, 3/6.

The match lasted 1 hour and 25 minutes. The second racket of the world, 27-year-old Carolina, twice took delivery of a rival, made two aces and three double faults. 28-year-old Petra, who occupies the 31st place in the WTA rating, has implemented five break points and was mistaken four times when serving.

Croatian increased the lead in personal meetings of athletes – 4: 1. In the fourth round of the tournament, Martić will fight either with Russian woman Veronika Kudermetova or with Estonian Kaia Kanepi.
