For 1 hour 49 minutes of the match, Karen made five aces and one break, making two double faults. Whereas Philipp thrice thrown through three times and implemented two break points, making one double mistake.
Score in the personal meetings of opponents was 3: 1 in favor of the German. In the quarterfinals of the tournament with Munich, Kohlschreiber will play either with the American Denis Kudla, or with the Italian Matteo Berrettini.
