Argentine tennis player Juan Martin Del Potro overcame the barrier of the second round of the competition in Delray Beach, beating the American Reilly Opelka in two sets – 6/4, 6/4.
The match lasted 1 hour and 13 minutes. The fourth racket of the world, 30-year-old Juan Martin, made two breaks and five aces. 21-year-old Opelka, occupying 56th place in the world classification, made 18 aces and two double faults.
Previously between the players have not met. In the quarterfinals of the tournament Delray Beach Open, Del Potro will play with Mackenzie Macdonald from the USA, who defeated the Spaniard Guillermo Garcia-Lopez – 7/5, 6/4.
