Jo-Wilfried Tsonga will not play at the Masters in Indian Wells due to blood disease

French tennis player Jo-Wilfried Tsonga will not take part in the BNP Paribas Open tournament, which will be held in March in Indian Wells.

The cause of this decision of the Frenchman was sickle cell anemia – a congenital disorder of the structure of blood cells, leading to fatigue, swelling and bouts of pain.
