Slovak tennis player Martin Klizan overcame the first-round barrier of the Masters in Indian Wells, beating German Mischa Zverev – 6/1, 6/4.
The match lasted 1 hour and 11 minutes. The 50th World racket, 29-year-old Martin, made three breaks and five aces, making four wrong mistakes when serving. 31-year-old Misha, who occupies 75th place in the ATP ranking, made three aces and as many double faults.
Slovak increased the lead in personal meetings of players – 2: 0. In the second round of the BNP Paribas Open tournament, Klizan faced off with Alexander Zverev.
