Bulgarian tennis player Grigor Dimitrov could not overcome the barrier of the first round of competitions in Geneva, losing to Argentine Federico Delbonis – 6/1, 4/6, 2/6.
The match lasted 1 hour and 36 minutes. The 47th World No. 28-year-old Grigor took the opponent four times, made nine aces and five double faults. His peer Federico, who occupies 84th place in the ATP ranking, made five breaks and aces, making a double mistake when serving.
Bulgarian remains the leader in the personal meetings of the players – 2: 1. In the second round of the Geneva Open tournament, Delbonis will play with Hungarian Marton Fucsovics.
