The finalists of the Hawaii Open tournament were the Canadian Eugenie Bouchard and the Belgian Eliza Mertens. In the first match, Mertens defeated the American Christine McHale with a score of 6/2, 6/1. In the second semifinal, Bouchard was stronger than the Spaniard Garbin Mugurusy, – 7/5, 6/1.
