The eighth racket of the world, Ukrainian tennis player Elina Svitolina, in the third round of Wimbledon defeated the Greek Maria Sakkari, who occupies 32nd place in the world ranking, 6/4, 6/7 (1), 6/2.
For 2 hours and 8 minutes of the match, Elina made one ace and seven breaks, having mistaken twice when serving. Maria, on the other hand, doubled through and implemented three break points, making six double faults.
Score in the personal meetings, opponents became 1-0 in favor of Ukrainian.
In the fourth round, “Slam” Svitolina will play either with a Croat Petra Martic, or with an American, Daniel Collins.
