Dominic Thiem withdrew from the Australian Open

The eighth racket of the world, Austrian tennis player Dominic Thiem, in the second round of the Australian Open was defeated by Australian Alexei Popyrin, who occupies 149th place in the world ranking. With the score 5/7, 4/6, 0/2, Thiem withdrew due to injury.

For 1 hour and 44 minutes of the match, Dominic made one ace, making a double mistake when serving. While Alexey 13 times filed through and implemented three break points, making three double faults.

Through personal meetings of opponents was 1-0 in favor of the Australian. In the third round of the Australian Open, Popyrin will play against  Frenchman Lucas Pouille.
